Day 21 #motivationmonday

Oh what a crazy weekend, as per usual.  Did get some walking in, but no luck with the BOD workouts.  I couldn't let a third day pass without getting Country Heat in, so made sure it was done tonight....even if I finished at 11:30p.

Great news is that over the past 3 weeks, I'm going into week 4 with 5.9 lbs lost!  It could definitely be more if I was able to stick with everything, but I'm working on it.  New goal is to fit back into pants I could fit into last year.  It's crazy how I was so comfortable in the pants last year and now I can barely get them on.  *sigh*

Small steps for now, but they're going in the right direction.

Got a little more creative with lunch this time around.  Mixed some broccoli stir fry, brown rice and seasoned chicken and put it all together.  Good stuff.

Until next time....

Day 15

We're at the halfway point and getting closer to routine.  Definitely sweating it out the last few days with Country Heat.  Down and Dirty is no joke... phew!!  Thankfully, I don't constantly feel like I have left two feet.

It is fun overall because you the reps move so quick, you don't have time to struggle.

I'm still working on how I manage my eating at work.  I really wish I knew how to settle that down.  *sigh*

Tomorrow will be a crazy day, but so excited.  I'm hoping to get up early to do some walking at doing an exercise video may be out of the question because I will be out all day.

Day 13

Oh boy... it has not been going well the last few days.  Between lack of planning and giving in to all cravings, it's been el sucko.

If anything, I seriously need to work on the whole inner mind, subconscious side.  That is the most brutal part of doing this.  If I could undergo some brain reconditioning, I'd be all for it.

Alas, I will keep going.  I'll fall, but then I'll get up again and start the whole vicious cycle.

Here's hoping for a better tomorrow.

Day 8

Just over a week!  Slow changes with eating are progressing, so yay!  I'm still trying to balance the whole work out thing.  Really wish we just had more rooms in this house.  I've been working out to the Country Heat program and it's pretty cool.  Who knew just working on line dances would be such work.

After a week, I haven't noticed too many changes overall. I am overall impressed with the way I have been talking myself out of junk food.  Two weeks ago that would not have been the case.  I'll take the little steps.

Now if I could just get my butt to bed earlier, we'd be set.

I'll check back in a few days to see how it's going.

Day 5!!

Attempting to settle into a routine, but it's not quite working out just yet.  I like to think that everyday I'm making little choices that add up... for now.

Today's lunch was blown out of the water.  Was extremely late to work due to a chaotic morning trying to get kiddies to school.   Yay for back to school.

Aside from lunch, meals weren't terrible.   Healthy snacks, steered clear of sweets and fast food, woo!

I was able to do the first workout of Country Heat!!  It was pretty fun to do, once I got my coordination down, lol.  I was very excited to not have to modify much of the workout.  Looks like the workout is on the agenda tomorrow as well.  I also managed to drink the shakeology as well.  To me that huge progress!

Tomorrow one kiddie has soccer and then we have an anniversary party to attend.  Workout will have to be done early... fingers crossed I get my butt in gear and do it.

(I try to add pictures to every post.  I like that they make it look a little more fun.  Most I get from my coach's page during our challenge month or FB page and others I scroll through never ending Pinterest.)

Day 3 check in

We're 3 days into the challenge and I still have a lot of work ahead.  Eating has been meh.  I haven't gone a day where I have been able to fight off all temptations.  Although, usually, once I give in I would tend to just basically throw the whole day away.  So yay for some restraint!

I still have to figure out when I can do the workout video.  Living in a rancher house with a whole lot of people, makes for very limited room.  Hmmm.....

We're off!

Today started the Beachbody Health Bet challenge.  The rules are pretty simple: log your Shakeology for 5 days during the week (with picture), log exercise 3 times a week and eat following meal plan.

The one problem I always have is the Shakeology.  I really don't know if it's because I have a sensitive taste palate or what, but I have a really hard time drinking any type of protein shake.  I've tried frozen, just shaken, adding extra fruit, but it never seems to help.  Sooooo we'll see how this goes.  Every day I'll try something a little different.  Today's choice was Cafe Latte with cinnamon.

I didn't get my exercise in as we were at a family BBQ.  I plan on getting the workout in tomorrow instead.  It'll be a little hard b/c there is no real workout space in the house.   We live in a rancher and there are 6 of us here.  This makes it extremely difficult to hide from anyone.

I think it's time to go to bed.  Extremely tired and will have to get up early to make lunch.  *yawn*
